W26D2: Welcome to your crib!

Hi Bédaine!
Today, I was busy trying to complete purchases to make sure you won’t be needing anything once you get here. While your dad was at work, I went and bought the bedding for your crib (that your dad had put up earlier this week) as well as some receiving blankets and other things I was missing. Let me tell you, trying to pick bedding when you don’t know if your child is a boy or a girl is a bit tricky! Your dad and I had agreed on our honeymoon on a jungle theme for you. We loved the idea of oranges, reds and yellows for your colours and we thought it would be easy to fit those in a jungle theme. However, after having done some research, the colours available for a jungle theme were either very masculine and around dark green and brown, or super colourful. I decided to go with colourful and stimulate your vision! Now, your dad isn’t home from work yet, so I don’t know if he’ll like what I chose, but I set it up in your room and I can’t wait to hear what he thinks about it! Below are some pictures of your room. As you can see, we still have some arranging to do, but it’s coming along nicely!

Where we’ll be cuddling, rocking and feeding you

Your closet. Missing some clothes, but all in due time!
